Take An Expedition To Belize!

In the tourism industry there are few secrets that people don’t know about – Belize isn’t one of them. When you look at other places it becomes apparent that Belize was hand-crafted and over seen by Mother Nature herself. I find that when I let my thoughts run through your mind Belize will capture your imagination just like when families, adventure seekers (backpackers) and newlyweds decide where they will go on vacation. Access to Belize by land, sea and air has been improved to provide easy access. As soon as you arrive in Belize you’ll find out that everything is cheap and close by. When you arrive in Belize it is instantly apparent how cheap the country is as well as how compact it is; making it a straightforward matter to organise weekend trips.

Getting to Belize from anywhere in North America is fast, easy and convenient with scheduled services for buses, flight and cruise ships. And, if you love the Caribbean Sea and you have your own boat, then you can enjoy the Belizean bonanza even before you reach the shores of Belize. Some people like to travel by road, if that be you, then hire a car or take a luxury bus from anywhere in North and Central America and point your compass toward Belize. There are three airlines that handle flights (American Airlines, Continental Airlines, US Airways) from Houston, Miami, Dallas and Charlotte.

The key to a fruitful and fulfilling trip to Belize is to plan your trip and draw up an itinerary as most of the best attractions are not very far from the centre of town. Let me give you my three top tips that I have found out on my travels to Belize. A trio of guidelines might help the visitors planning a trip to Belize -If your trip is incomplete without a pint of beer and you crave for a corner seat in a quaint Mexican restaurant - Then a stay in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, San Ignacio or Placencia village will add flavour to your trip. If you want serenity and peace of mind head over to Light Reef Atoll or Long Caye. If you want tranquillity and privacy then you need to stay at Long Caye or Lighthouse Reef atoll. Slip into that space of no thought for a deep inner peace.

Belize has a multitude of transport options. Among the many options are you can hire a car, take a bus, or take a taxi. If you want to make a longer trip there are also planes and buses available. For people who can think outside the box there is the option to hire a bicycle at a minor cost. If you arrive in Belize City and you do not have a lot of time then I would suggest that you take the local airlines. If you have little bit more time then you might want to take a bus because it will give you an experience of the country from a more intimate perspective. Other visitors to Belize prefer to explore via water taxis and ferry because this allow them to see the country from the perspective of the river system and water ways.

The tourist season is between December and June. The rainy time of year is between June and November. And the cooler period is between December and May. The abundance of emotion that Belizeans feel for visitors envelopes you at any time of the day you arrive in Belize. It's no wonder that many of the visitors end up buying the prized real estate in Belize. If you look at a place like Long Caye you will see that it has two brilliant attributes; the white sandy beaches and the picturesque fishing spots. Because of these two attributes the rise in foreign owned real estate has been unstoppable. A lot of people who visit Belize return home and always imagine what it would have been like if they could stay longer.
